NOTE: I already fixed the typo in the thumbnail, but YouTube is taking its time switching it to the new one. Sorry!

Brilliant video Tom as usual, always informative and enjoyable, no wonder it's become a favourite Tom, it's a beautiful species of spider 🕷 and definitely worth having in any collection.

Lovely girl! Those colors are amazing 😍. Nice to know that this fossorial T does come out sometimes. Would be a shame to never see her.

Nice video Tom. I had one of these. Mine never grew well. I use these containers as well. I buy the adhesive backed velcro rolls from walmart, and use that to secure the lids. It's not as pretty, but I don't want to reenact that scene from Dr. No. Have a good summer!

I listen to your podcast every Monday morning during my hour commute to work. 😀
Monday Morning Edit: Wow, this last podcast in the topic of death was one of the best ones you've done in a long time! 👏👏👏

Billie you should take a side job as a spider, tarantula film expert. You would do a great job on one of those nature show. Yes this is a pretty orange T but I still love blue ones the best.

Hey Tom,
C. cyaneus really is a beautiful T.
Thanks for the nice video.
I got my C. cyaneus in Aug. last year as a tiny sling so small I was a bit worried about feeding and keeping her. But she has really grown quite fast. 1.25-1.5" + now. It's hard to get an accurate measure as she has become very reclusive .
I've had to open up a small hole and place prey near the opening. As you said you did with yours ( in previous vid) Mine tends to stay sealed behind cork bark and burrowed down in substrate.
None the less I very much enjoy this colorful little T. I am waiting for her to put on a little more size and hopefully she will become less shy so I can see her more often.

Hi Tom, spray that hinge with Pam cooking spray 👍
What a gorgeous spider! Got to love the redheads ❣️ I'm wondering how she is about kicking hairs.
