Exiled Egyptian comedian, Bassem Youssef, has been called the Jon Stewart of the Middle East for his sharp wit and political bent. Satire, he says, brings more engaged people into the political discussion, a critical first step to making societal change. “We shouldn’t lose hope in humanity,” he says. “I believe in the power of humans.”
