This is literally brilliant! I really need one for my property but don’t have the money for one I feel like this is a much cheaper solution to build one.

Very well built, I did one for my 317 JD using the front hidraulic ports, it’s slow too but it lifts 550 pounds, very helpful

Great job on the tractor bucket. They seem to do a great job. Thanks for posting.

For being electric it's faster than I thought! If it saves your back half a dozen times a year, it's a success! I have a JD 430 Diesel that I built a shovel bucket for and it's "OK", but I'm going to tear it apart and build a proper loader this summer.

Real Nice job on the fabrication and set up Kurt. You are very talented. Great great job buddy!!

A unique method for hydraulics. You think outside the box, so to speak. Good job!. And if I may give a serious thought about that wood burner against the shop wall; Gasoline fumes travel low along the floor. An open flame burner like that can cause an explosive ignition situation in your building. The combustion draft that the stove produces can suck gasoline vapor right into the stove. Be safe, stay well.

Man am I glad I found your video. Nice work on the loader and clever idea using these cilinders. Also beautiful Massey! Greetings from the Netherlands, Mark

Very cool little tractor. I had an 8hp massey many years ago it was so cool. I always wanted to build stuff like this but work always gets un the way

Nice ! I built one for fun with my grandson thinking I would sell it but we use it to do some work that likely wouldn’t be done if I didn’t have it
Initially just wanted to expose the grandson to fabrication. But we’ve moved tons of rock stones snow all kinds of uses .
Built mine from a JD 140 H3 thinking a 1973, took out the Kolhler for a V twin . Added hydraulic power steering because it was hard to steer with a load .
Anyway nice work, looking great .

That’s awesome!! Great job. Would you happen to have the P/N’s for the bucket and side lift hydraulic pumps!!😊👍

Looks great so far , Great Job ...But don't discount the need for some weight in the back area though ... From seeing the many videos like this, the most successful ones have concluded that some weight was needed because of mostly working on grass, especially wet grass ... Peoblem found was, even dry grass when drove over couple times in working moving stuff ( mulch, dirt, sand, etc . ) The grass starts crying making itself not only wet, but a really slick wet & for snow removal you're not only gonna need those weights but some chains for the tires too... Good news though, if you have a nice or new driveway & don't want to scar it all up, they make & sell RUBBER SNOW CHAINS for MOWER TIRES ... And they're not all that expensive either
But since I've worked in Industrial Commercial PORT Setting for about half a century it seemed to me to be a better cheaper way of making your loader work ....A lot ( most ) people aren't aware of all the hydraulic directional valves & ways there are to easily control them, either by button switch all the way to hands free foot switch operated ...( a much slicker way of using hydraulics it seems to me ... I know your dilemma of no hydraulics pump available on that little mower, but yes there is if you think about it for a minute
Simply get a hydraulic New or Used,
( a donor pump from a junked 4, 000
or 5, 000 pound lift truck's steering will do nicely , I know, I have one ..)
That lower pulley you spoke about simply mount the pump on a steel plate & there you go ...a few simple rams & you're off to the races ... But if you don't want to warp your.bucket you should put a tilt cylinder on both sides of the nice bucket you built ... Be a shame to bend. or / put a twist in a really nice bucket You've got a great idea & working prototype there, finish it up & show us the completed project, New Paint Job & 👍👍👍👏👏👏👏🤗🤗👋👋

Hi, George aka Shade Tree Fix-it turned me on to you. Nice work.

Nice work on the loader. What size rectangle tubing did you use for the frame?
Thanks

This is one of the nicest homemade loaders I’ve seen. Nice work! I especially like how the size of it really matches the tractor—so many compact loaders seem to be too bulky for the machines they are mounted to. I definitely plan to take inspiration from your project for one I plan to build.

Can you tell me where you got the cylinders from? Thanks!

Do you have a materials list? I'm wanting to build one for my little garden tractor. Originally I was going to use 2x3 steel tube for the lift arms and 3x3 tube for the vertical posts.

The actuators are faster then you give credit for. If im correct those are electric over hydrolic? Yea. Those are among other actuators on top end especially price. Actuators are used on some trash trucks to give an idea of strength & efficiency. Ive got slow actuators on my loader build on my JD L108. Mine are 5mm/s 1, 320lbs & 660lbs actuators. I have to use 24v instead of 12 to make them go faster and still not the same speed as yours. Enjoy your loader, its a great show piece. Bet you never seen one like it at a tractor show.

Nice loader. And tractor. Seems like a good speed on the loader. I had three MF tractors. One has a pipe loader on it, that I made, operated by a winch and a trip bucket.

Paint it up and it will look factory! I'm working on doing the same thing to my case 444

Hello, I'm interested in building one like that too for my Bolens. I haven't the faintest idea how to design the hydraulic system. Would you happen to have a link where you got those cylinders please? Thanks for sharing.
