the parts of the song that goes "l-e-t-d-o-w-n, don't let me pull you down into the place I'm in." and the part that goes "My brothers and sisters, I hate myself. Halleluja!" really hit me hard as most of my life I had hated myself and bottled up my emotions and stress not wanting to worry people which only made things worse.

I honestly think your songs saved my life, they gave me something to cope and helped me feel like I wasn't fighting my problems alone when I didn't think my parents understood my pain.

I'm not sure you'll even see this comment, but I'm going to leave it anyway...it's not an exaggeration when I say your painfully relatable music has literally saved my life. Just knowing there's someone out there that feels and thinks in a similar way is more comforting than I can express. I've been made to feel crazy, dramatic, worthless, a complete waste of the air I breathe for most of my life. I literally came into this world a mistake and unwanted. It has been uphill from the beginning. Many times I've thought about finally putting an end to my painful and pointless existence. Finding your amazing catalog of insanely good songs spoke to my soul. My life has never been easy. I don't know what it feels like to be truly loved and valued. I am just stubborn enough to keep on keeping on. Your words, passion, and truly incredible voice has kept me from stepping off that ledge more than once.
