This is right up my alley. Great content. I do get stuck playing the same voicings from 10+ years ago. I’ve been using this approach lately to find new chords. I’ve gotten to the point where they feel good in my hands and can get there without much thought but implementing them in songs and on the spot hasn’t happened yet. Great content

hey bro Corey. I do understand the modes for the most part, and how to use them in a jazz tune over diff chords (eg. the locrian scale over a dom 7th chord). However, I get a little messed trying to understand the more advanced modal chords such as a Phrygian or Locrian chord - and how to recognize them. Lydian I get - it's always a sharp 4 sound (#4), but the others mess me up. Thanks.
