10 Reasons Why We Don’t Pray

Reasons why we don't pray:
1. Lack of time. (Luke 5v16)
Prayer doesn’t take time, it saves time.Don’t prioritize your schedule, schedule your priorities.
2. Doubt about the effectiveness of prayer. (James 5v16b)
Prayer doesn’t change God, but it does change things.
3. Distractions and busyness. (Luke 10v38-42)
4. Lack of knowledge about prayer. (Luke 11v1)
Prayer is learned by praying.
5. Unconfessed sin. (Psalm 66v18)
6. Demonic resistance. (Genesis 2v7; John 20v22)
The devil can’t stop God from answering our prayers; therefore he will seek to stop us from praying.
7. Disappointment with lack of immediate results. (Isaiah 40v31)
8. Weakness of the flesh.
Prayer attacks the flesh; therefore, the flesh attacks prayer. (Matt 26v40-41)
9. Pride. (Proverbs 3v5-6)
10. Feeling unworthy. (Romans 8v1)
