RARE - Ennio Morricone plays the piano - Once upon a time in America

Ennio Morricone plays the piano in the Silvano Agosti's movie theater.
Agosti and Morricone are old-time friends. Morricone did the soundtrack of four films directed by Agosti.
Agosti is a Special Person and a Special Artist. Ennio Morricone calls him "The case of Italian cinema".
Precisely because of this special friendship, ( and for this special human being) Ennio Morricone has done something he never does in public: He played the piano.
He did this for dedication as a birthday gift to Silvano Agosti.
In this short video, Ennio Morricone performs the main theme of the "Once upon a time in America" .
As you can see from the video, this performance, this special gift, moved the soul of his friend.

Playing a song is one thing and composing a song is totally a different thing, I remember watching a documemtary about Ennio Morricone where he described himself as a poor piano player but man; I really think that he was guided by angels or somethings to compose those great music, unbeatable forever. I watched once upon a time in america with my dad when I was a little boy in the 80s (I had to leave the room at certain scenes 😂) I'm now 45 years old and this song has played in my head every day since I first heard it. Beautiful masterpiece ❤
