What a great idea, lets make it harder for the average builder to measure our pistons. Lets make them buy an expensive blade caliper just to use our pistons. Guess what pistons I won't be using on my build.

Why not make it for the mass and not to have to buy another $400 tool on top of all 🤔

Bull.. standard micrometre is fine, but you can not measure it if micrometre is not on the stand and piston hanging so that micrometre can align to the piston properly. Good measuring from hand is not possible as everyone is showing. Ask me how I know. I tried and it is impossible to get repeatable measurement if micrometre is held in hand.

I'm on my second block and 3rd machine shop to get these pistons to work. Very upsetting. I would be done if I had different pistons. I have 650.00 pistons and 2 boat anchors as of now.

How much clearance do I leave in the cylinder / piston in a 250 chevrolet (6 cyl) engine? I'm with a piston JE bore 3, 905? Thanks!
