I tried passion fruit the first time in my life this year. Absolutely loved it. My father grew them in our house here in Pakistan.

In Ecuador, passion fruit is one of our favorites! There is even a yellow variation of the fruit that we call maracuya, which is a bit sweeter if you ask me.

It's hard to find the fruit here in America, and most of my friends don't seem to understand my love for the fruit, but I always get excited when I come by it. Passion fruit reminds me of my childhood and my culture. It's personally my favorite and I get anything that has passion fruit or maracuya in it.

In Brazil is very common using passion fruit on desserts, but we have 2 different passion fruit, one is only kinda acid and they have a unique taste, the another passion fruit is sweet and less citric than another passion fruit. Its my favorite fruit and juice!

My parents are from Mauritius and we get passion fruit trees that grow around the place. One of my favourite treats as a kid was when my mum got some fresh passion fruits. We'd cut them in half, add a little sugar and give it a mix. The sugar helps to undercut the sour taste but it goes great it smoothies, ice cream and kulfi too!

Passionfruit and pineapple peel & core boiled together (boil 5 minutes, cover and sit for an hour, strain) and honey or brown sugar added is amazing. My mother use to make it. I think Dole has a pressed juice now passion fruit is mixed with other tropical fruits✌️🌷

Some African cultures love passion fruits, now usually as juice. There are different types, and usually very sweet (not sour or tangy), and some type with very hard shells (you have to use a rock) but very soft seeds.

In Somalia we love our passion fruit. My family blends it with water, mint and a little sugar to make a juice. You’ll have to strain it but it is so delicious especially for iftar and on Eid!!

We eat this a lot in Venezuela! You can eat it as is (I usually don't bite into the seeds and just swallow them 🤷‍♀️), It makes a very good juice (I personally like it better than orange juice) and we also have it in sweets like passion fruit mousse and ice cream👌. Ours are kinda bigger than this shown in the video, and they're also yellow.

I just live in America and you don't see too much passion fruit around where I live, but when my family gets their hands on passion fruit, its hard to let go. Try to add the passion fruit to some sort of sweet sauce, kind of like a filling in a pie, I hear thats really good.
