Old republic sith were conquerors, prequel sith were corruption. That’s the main difference. Old republic sith would scour cities to prove a point. Prequel sith played war like a game of chess. One may be more powerful, but the other is harder to stop by conventional means.

Darth Traya said that in facing an ancient sith, people like the exile (and presumably Raven) would be like children holding matchsticks in comparison. However, in Canon Sideous is the most powerful. But I like to think of the ancients possessing powers long forgotten that would make even Sideous weak by comparison.

Creator is brainwashed, trolling, or genuinely dumb. The old Sith were masters of everything except three categories: cunning, influence, and patience. Palpatine succeeded because 1000 years of Sith work before him led to having a fortune and influence network that allowed him to mislead a galaxy and deceive the Jedi Order.
Everything else? The Old Sith dueled and used their force abilities in ways the movies never even conceived of. Bane was one of the finest duelists of his age, trained by THE blademaster of the Sith. Nihilus drained the life out of planets; he and several other sith were effectively immortal in a physical sense like Vitiate. Sith Alchemy dwarfed the abilities of Mother Talzin.
Some basic research would tell you that this short is a joke.

I always felt that the comparisons of other videos between these groups were too biased. For one thing, I felt that the KOTOR/SWTOR era Sith were overall more powerful than the Sith of the the Skywalker Saga for several reasons.

The first reason was that the Sith of KOTOR/SWTOR did not follow the foolish and limiting Rule of Two set by Darth Bane.

The second reason was that the Sith of KOTOR/SWTOR were battle-experienced far more, since they were in battle more often than not.

The third reason was that they were in constant competition with the Jedi of the KOTOR/SWTOR era far more, and were in direct conflict, not acting behind the scenes.

Those are the three reasons I believe the Sith, and by extension, the Jedi of the KOTOR/SWTOR era were much stronger than later generations.
