Josh Jacobson and David Tilman discuss the Jewish side of Leonard Bernstein
Показать описание
presented by the Zamir Chorale of Boston
Zamir Chorale of Boston Artistic Director Josh Jacobson presents "Leonard Bernstein: The Jewish Side." The program is co-hosted by Cantor David Tilman, former creative consultant for the Leonard Bernstein Centennial Exhibit mounted by the National Museum of American Jewish History.
Correction: The photo at 10:58 is the conductor Dimitri Mitropoulos, another of Bernstein's mentors, not Serge Koussevitsky.
Note: Kudos to those who recognized that the melody of "Ilana the Dreamer" showed up years later as "Candide's Lament."
