Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way from Galway to Burren and Dingle

We are taking you along one of the world's most scenic drives on the west coast of Ireland. It's called the Wild Atlantic Way, passing countless green fields, greener than green with cows grazing in the meadows along with some craggy limestone landscapes in what's called the Burren, and then driving further south, passing some remote villages, isolated homesteads, beaches, with a ferry ride across the Shannon River, then a scary drive across the Dingle Peninsula and over the rugged Comor Pass, eventually arriving in Dingle town.

I'm a big Ireland fan. Great landscapes and a great literary history, actually the oldest written literature in Europe apart from Latin and Greek, with for example Táin Bó Cúailnge and stories about Cú Chulainn. I had the great luck in my life of studying Old Irish, very difficult but nevertheless even more rewarding. Thank you for your great videos, I enjoy them very much indeed. You should definitely try the Slea Head drive. It takes in most of the Dingle peninsula and if it’s sunny it’s like another world it’s so beautiful and scenic.
