I needed this. I literally waited till midnight last night hoping Windows 10 would download and when it didn't I got really sad. That's when I did some research and found this! Thank you soooo much. Made my day~

I've already done this prior to seeing any video about it. It works. I was using windows 7 pro and now I'm using windows 10 pro. No, you won't have to reinstall any programs like a fresh, clean installation either. Only thing you'd have to do is update graphics driver if you use them (download your respective windows 10 version)

After I run the installer and I click install for this PC. It loads for a few minutes and then says "Something Happened". Please help!

For people getting: Something happened error. Make sure to change your regional settings to English United States. Also change your default keyboard and Locale to English United States also.

My laptop runs smoothly with Win 8.1 but when I updated to Win 10 it lags too much. Does anyone have the same problem?

My laptop is an acer with intel core i5 with 4 gb of ram so I don't really know what's the problem.

Mine is not updating automatically, i'm very excited to get it and i never got a new version of Windows at launch before vuz it always had compatibility issues, and looks like it's not the case anymore.
