Traditional organised religions such as Christianity brings comfort in times of loss but stops people from fighting for rights on planet earth. It also encourages dependency and not spiritual growth. Some of us need something deeper and are keen to learn and grow. ThanQ for sharing.

Thank you for all of this!! I love how you said to “start with being a better version of you!” That’s the mission I am on!! I think a lot of people become codependent with religion. Not knocking this, yet at the same time people who run from one religion to the next do so due to hurt feelings. Not everyone, but those that I know, including myself. So once I started building a better relationship with me, I released the codependency of needing to affiliate with any religion. Religion is religion is religion. Which means the meaning of religion is the same for all…”to bind” or “obligation, bond” those are the original meanings of religion. I learned that any belief system we practice gets filtered through how we feel about self. These are my humble opinions. Thanks again!

This video is really helpful. It was hard for me to grasp the strictness of atrs at first and i felt weird but then i realized its because my idea of religion is christian, which can be so so flexible depending on the person... i never thought of what it might be like to follow a more strict, conservative religion... the spectrum of spirituality is so interesting. And this is also relieving bc im in no way ready/capable of joining a strict religion from a whole other country
