As a current Doctor of Physical Therapy student (and someone who has watched most of your videos), I think you would be a great professor/instructor. The combination of a calm demeanor and attention to detail in explanation is so important for teaching someone HOW to do something. Anyone can list steps in a process, but the ability to pick out helpful information such as grasping the end of the suture when finishing the knot is what really makes for a great educator.

I believe there’s more to this video and even perhaps a second one if I recall correctly. She definitely gets better over time and you should totally watch them (on camera or in your free time whatever but it’s interesting watching her learn)

I loved watching Jackie doing this . As a sewer myself I considered that last stitch she did as a blanket stitch where she should of been doing a whip stitch. I've never had to repair flesh but many items of clothing.

This was fun, and thank you for not being hard on Jackie and for understanding that she was trying to do. Curiosity in exploring different professions in a safe, controlled, and simulated way is something that should be encouraged (that is also age appropriate).

A couple years ago I had a rooster that got the back of his neck ripped open by a dog and I grabbed some fishing line and stitched him up. He healed up great. I had a hen that had a larger spot ripped open and did the same thing and she did great also.
