Today, December 8th 2020, forty years ago John Lennon was murdered. The world lost one of its greatest artists of all time. This is a tribute and a way to present what for me is his masterpiece, his greatest heritage. We miss you John...ciao!

Wonderful photograph at the end, it reflects very well that magnetism of geniuses, those who emanate what they say you have to have, and not many have ... we miss you JOHN.

Nice ... I'll have to go grab a copy rather than stream it. Thanks for taking the time to do this.

Hi Guido,

I only just recently discovered your channel, and I am so glad I did! My admiration for you has solidified with this heartfelt John Lennon remembrance. Please allow me to share my pain...

In November 1980, I was the biggest 13 year old Beatles fan in New Jersey. I'd been a fan since 1974, so for most of my life John had been in "seclusion". Imagine my joy when he finally released Double Fantasy and was speculating about going back on the road!

Back then, my mother and I would venture into Manhattan every other weekend. On Saturday, November 29, we had been "down in the village" for much of the day (probably looking for bootlegs and Japanese pressings at Venus Records). It was getting late, but I was lobbying for us to go back uptown to the Dakota to see if we could meet John, since he was famously greeting fans out on the street. "He's not afraid of people anymore, " I remember pointing out.

We really needed to get back to Penn Station to catch our train back to Jersey, so my mom promised that we'd hang around outside the Dakota two Saturdays hence, on our next excursion. Needless to say, by the weekend of December 13, it was too late.

Forty years later, it remains as agonizing as ever to tell that story.

Sad fact: John has now been dead for longer than he was alive. John was 40 years, 1 month and 29 days old when he died and it's now been 40 years, 2 months and 6 days since he died

John Lennon's age when he died (October 9, 1940-December 8, 1980): 40 years, 1 month and 29 days

Time since John Lennon died (December 8, 1980-February 14, 2021): 40 years, 2 months and 6 days

I saw a really good exhibition at the museum of Liverpool, earlier this year, that told the story of John and Yoko’s life. Absolutely fascinating.

I am sad, but I don´t like John Lennon as a Person! He was a loveless Father and a violent Husband! So, if there is any pain on the Record you recommend Guido, then it should be the pain he did to Other people, especially his near Family! He was not that Love and Peace spreading Guy he pretended to be!

Seriously!!! do the tributes to John but you can do it without mentioning that name? He wanted to be famous for his deed and if every time anyone talks about John they mention that man's name he gets what he wanted... Remember John forever... let the other name be forgotten...I stopped watching this after the second mention....
