If the dividends earned from US stocks bought via Degiro are lower than 1000 euros (2024), do we need to declare them in the Steuererklärung? The US 15% withhold tax were automatically charged by Degiro.

Hello, very informative video. I am a student and doing Part time job and I want to invest in stocks through scalable capital or trade republic. If my dividents are more than 801 or 1000 Euro in a financial year should I have to file income tax separatly or my broker will do automatically for me. As I don't want to file any taxes until I start full time job.

Can i do this exemption order one time in every year or is it something i can make one time in my life? And should i make it until the end of the year or until i change? 🤔 i invest on USA dividend stocks only and i just started. I live in Germany and haven’t prepared any Steuererklarung before 😮. So what do you recommend? Thanks so much

Hey bro, I just wanna know whether 1 year hold zero tax rule is still applicable
Secondly does it covers only for Bitcoin or is applicable for other alts like Ethereum
And what about we hold the crypto as stable coins like busd for a year, does that count?
Where can I see the exact statement provided on this rule
Thanks

hi Ahsan, keep up the good work ❤Scalable Capital's official pages seem to suggest they don’t handle taxes automatically.

Can you confirm if they manage taxes or if we need to do it ourselves? Thanks!

Hi Ahasan
Thank you for your explanations.
Do you happen to know if tax can be demanded by the German government if a long-term investment in foreign country that was made before moving to Germany, and its capital of the investment was made in that country long before moving into Germany?
Thanks for your reply!

Hello dear Ahsan, first off all, I want to thank you for the helpful videos. Secondly, I want to know, can the people (who don't have a job yet, and getting money from social amt or jobcenter ) also invest in scaleble or other apps?
Thanks in advance ☺️

Hi Ahsan. Are we required to declare income earned as sales of stock, dividends, and interest earned from outside Germany if it falls under the limit of the saver's allowance?

Hello, Thank you for the informative videos. Please let me know if we have to declare the long term gains (Indian MF ELSS) while filing German Tax.

Great Video, just to confirm, if i invest €10, 000 in stocks or ETF's in Germany, i do not sell them until after 12 months, i will not have to pay Capital Gains Tax or Solidarity Tax? I will however need to pay CTG tax if i receive a dividend, say €200 from that investment?

Hi Ahsan, good video. Let me ask you something, because it is not clear for me. I've opened a savings account 5 months ago. My earnings are below 800 euros. I don't understand if I should apply for a exeption order anyway (to pay less taxes) or if I should apply for it only if my yearly earnigs are more that 800 euros. What if I don't do it? I would pay more and/or receive less earnings every month?
Thanks!

Hi Ahsan, it's very informitive video thanks. One question, US-quellensteuer deducted my dividend income from Apple stock, is it separate from capital gain tax or is it the same thing?

Hello Sir,
I wanted to clarify one small thing. I am a doctoral student in Germany and receive tax-free stipend. Meanwhile, I am trading in US stock market with IBKR broker. I am Pakistani national. My capital gains for 2023 is less than 1000 euros. Should I file this year's tax just because I am trading stocks? Because my stipend is already tax-free and my capital gains for this year is also tax free.

Hi Ahsan! Thanks for the video. I’m using an American broker and my capital gains are well below 1000 euros. Should I still mention the gains in tax filing or can I exclude it?
