Toyota Dealers in PANIC MODE as SALES PLUMMET!

Toyota Dealers across the United States are entering panic mode. They farseeing 2024 Toyota Tundras and Tacomas STACK UP on their lots. Many Toyota dealerships are actually turning away Tundra and Tacoma allocations because they just aren't selling. The only way they can sell them is if they slash prices drastically. Safe to say people are voting with their pocketbooks. They're saying NO to overpriced vehicles that come with smaller, complex engines. These smaller displacement turbocharge hybrid motors are overcomplicated for most Toyota buyers. Toyota buyers WANT Simplicity, Reliability and Affordability... none of which comes with the new 2024 Toyota Tundra, 2024 Toyota Tacoma, 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser, and so on. Toyota has cashed in reliability and affordability for green credits. They're chasing carbon credits (aka handouts from the government) to make smaller displacement motors with battery packs strapped to them. People didn't ask for that. Well, people outside of California didn't ask for that.

Toyota's stock has been on a steady free fall since the turn of the year. Is it coincidence that their fall started as they made this "climate change" shift and started offering overpriced 4 bangers and 6 cylinder full-sizer pickups? I think not. Toyota saw a CEO shift, and clearly a priority shift... Instead of producing vehicles that last a lifetime, they've pivoted to making vehicles that last 5-10 years to ensure consistent turnover and purchases. A Toyota that stays on the road for 25+ years doesn't make the company too much money. They've shifted their focus to greed versus taking care of true Toyota enthusiasts... Which is a total shame. Please Toyota, let's remember your core values. If you don't, your loyal following will disappear.

Let me know your thoughts. Do you agree? As always, I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to watch my videos. If you found any value in this, please consider Liking and Subscribing. Your support means a lot and it definitely doesn't go unnoticed.

People are broke. Everything skyrocketed in price. Stellantis greed spread to Toyota. Hopefully, people will stop buying any of these overpriced vehicles.

I just purchased a fully loaded 2024 Nissan Frontier Pro4X naturally aspirated 6 cylinder engine $46, 000 OTD. Proven engine and transmission performance. Truck built by American workers in Canton, MS. Hard pass on the over-priced 2024 turbo charged Toyota Tacoma built in Mexico.

Your 100% correct we didn’t want turbos nor hybrids, we wanted reliability with a hint of gas savings not this crap

People are going to stop buying new cars and trucks. Everything is overpriced. The automakers are committing financial suicide. When you stop putting their customers first, this is what you end up with.

"Don't buy them!!!! Let the prices drop more. Watch. It. Burn." Imagine these getting down 15-20k under MSRP

Driving the same Ford truck for 25 years. Power steering pump went out four years ago. Replaced it myself. Everything still works. Cold A/C. no payments for 18 years. I'm happy.

The fact that my ‘20 Tacoma TRD PRO MSRP was $46, 655 vs $63, 900 for a ‘24 is astonishing.

Sticker shock is an understatement for what I have been experiencing. Toyota Tacomas, Rangers, etc are 25-30 thousand dollar vehicles all day long. My first home in 1996 was 90, 000 UNBELIEVABLE 😢😢

I agree, they stopped the v8 and replaced it with a V6 and the V6 was replaced with the 4 cylinder 👎🏼

Make ‘em in Mexico… then sell ‘em in Mexico.

Ill just keep buying 20 year old full sized trucks for 10K when one dies. Paying over 50k for a midsized truck is absolutely insane.

This is happening in the cycling industry too. Prices of bikes went up drastically during Covid. Now there is oversupply and all brands are discounting heavily.

Most people buy a brand new car so they could remove any worries of it breaking down. Especially when buying a Toyota. But now that Toyota reliability is questionable, people aren't going to take the chance.

Ridiculous prices, Toyota and everyone else has lost their minds.

Toyota corporate will say it’s inflation that’s causing low sales…when they themselves are the cause of the inflation.

My local dealer historically had around 15-20 Tacoma's and 10-12 Tundra's total
Here is what they have now:
59 Tacoma's and 57 Tundra's on the lot.
25 Tacoma's and 11 Tundra's in transit
9 Tacoma's and 0 Tundra's in production.

93 Tacoma's and 68 Tundra's in total! WOW

I know absolutely no one that can afford a 70k-80k truck! Who in the world is buying these things?? Especially right now the way the economy is! It's all I can do just to keep groceries on the table!
