Beautiful playing as always- It’s amazing how much Rubinstein looks just like Horowitz in this picture :)

I love, love, to hear Rubenstein play it. He said a few things about how he feels when he plays this. It's just so played from the heart.

I love the way Rubenstein plays the third movement, singing tones in the treble, thundering bass!!

Rubinstein.... perhaps the greatest pianist of the 20e century. This performance seems perfect to me.

The picture is definitely of Horowitz, in case someone doesn't know what he looks like.

I like this played downtempo for sure, I am glad he doesn't feel the need to rush through it either.

The third movement of the
Moonlight sonata i think is Beethovens Greatest piano
work.
45yrs on in my life it is as fresh as ever.

This is the 1962 RCA recording by Arthur Rubinstein. It's been redistributed dozens of times on various compilations.

I love Rubinstein’s Chopin pieces. For Beethoven, I prefer Serkin. Rubinstein is too gentle to give Beethoven’s works the drama they rightfully deserve.
And why am I looking at Horowitz?

It's confusing to see Horowitz pic while Rubenstein is playing...
Thank you ♥️

Yup, that style is Rubenstein's, not Horowitz's.

Un tocco come di ali di farfalla, soffi di vento leggero. Una intensità di sentimenti intimamente confessati più a se stesso che al mondo. Una interpretazione incantevole.

I love Bethoven, . It's my favorite sonata. Nobody like Arthur Rubinstein. " Nothing compares 2 you." Respectly to "All we love the beautiful music " 👍

Ignoring the fact that audio quality is bad, Rubinstein's interpretation of ANY piano piece is unmatched. Perhaps the only one to play better than this was Beethoven himself.

Can you fix the title?  Horowitz plays this very differently, with wild dynamic swings in the first movement.  If you can't edit the title, then please delete and repost with reference to the correct artist..

I feel Rubenstein's interpretation amd expression is best ever ... Horiwitz is great but a little more mechanical... Horowitz soft touch and expression is wondefful perfect for this majestic eork.
