Sometimes what happens is on the test kit there will be a light line and one strong positive line it could be pink in color or blue in color depending on the kits that you use. Ideally pregnancy test has to be done the first urine sample in the morning so that these kind of conflicting results can be avoided. What happens is sometimes you see a very faint line next to the control line. So there are two lines there's a test line and this is a control line. What we have to concentrate is on the test line. Suppose if the test line shows very mild or a light color it says that it could be in the early pregnancy level or if the urine is very diluted even then we get a very faint line. There are other sets of conditions where we get false positive results. False positive means even though there is no pregnancy urine pregnancy test card shows a light line. So this happens in people having severe polycystic ovaries or when they are taking ovulation medications, when people are on the psychiatric medication so we get lot of false positives. Now how do we confirm whether there is pregnancy or not? We have to do a blood test. We measure the levels of HCG in the blood, in the blood means in the serum. So whenever the result is positive in the serum that means to say that so this is the only confirmatory test we have to do when you see a light line in the urine card. Suppose you are outside and you don't have access to the blood test then I would recommend you to keep repeating the urine pregnancy test once in two days. The line has to gradually darken and it has to show you an accurate result. So this means to say that you have conceived and you have to visit your doctor immediately and then take for the course of action.
