As a women who lives in a VERY conservative southern state, I LOVE it here. Honestly it is amazing. I feel SO safe in the town I live in. and let me just tell you, the guys are absolutely chefs kiss. they grew up with their southern mama telling them how to be a gentleman so they actually have MANNERS. I haven't read all the comments here but most people seem to understand it differently than I did. To me the way she said "but I can get pickled okra, so..." felt like she was saying it mattered more than being able to get an abortion. So what I understood was more like: Yes, she thinks being able to get an abortion is a right she should have, but in her daily life it's not a right she's gonna use so it matters less than being able to obtain this food she likes...
