I will soon write a detailed blog about this one-day itinerary for Dalhousie and Khajjiar with a complete route map and costs.
For most people visiting Dalhousie, Khajjiar remains a popular tourist spot. But what they miss during their travels is Kala Top and Jot. In this one-day Dalhousie itinerary, I covered all 4 major highlights (including the so-called mini-Switzerland of India
1) Dalhousie has a number of colonial-era buildings, including St. Francis and St. John’s churches, which date back to the rule of the British Raj in the 1800s. The city is certainly worth visiting. A night stroll along the mall-road in Dalhousie is certainly a must-visit.
2) Khajjiar, also known as the mini-Switzerland of India, originally became popular for the 12th century, Khajji Nag Temple, dedicated to a serpent god. Nearby, the high-altitude Khajjiar Lake is surrounded by cedar forest.
3) Kala Top and Jot Pass are popular viewpoints.
