How to FIX Joining Friends Game Session Error or Timed out GTA 5 Online (PS4, PS5, Xbox, PC)

Do you want to know how to FIX Joining A friends game session error or timed out in GTA 5 Online? You can fix the joining friends game error, by going to a friends crew and finding them under the members list and joining on them or if your on PS4, ps5, xbox go to your friends list and go to the now playing session and join your friend through the friends list. Now in game, try going to story mode and then join through the GTA 5 friends list.

I’ve tried these steps n didn’t work it only shows my other friends on gta5 that ONLY has a ps4 like I do. I can’t join to husbands lobby that has a ps5. I think it cuz they updated the game for ps5 for more better graphics. So sad. .

well thats not specifically my problem which i can't seem to fiind, , , , i'm playing OFFLINE, and every few minutes i'm getting this annoying message "can't join party session" when i am not trying to at all, and as well again in OFFLINE mode playing a Trevor, trying the tennis mode, and i can't even seem to hit a single return as the receiver and the AI oppenent (Rae) can't seem to him any of my serves either... ..as well earlier this time while playing ONLINE ... suddenly 3 dead corpes appeared inside my mean seriously wtf? .. i was going to take a pic but didn't know how to

Hey I’m hoping someone can help me with this as I can’t find a solution but apparently other people have this problem. When I try joining my friends it takes me to the Xbox store and tells me to buy because I don’t own the game, this happens in Xbox invites and in game invites. The strange thing is, when my friend joins me, it prompts him to buy the game, same when I try to join him. it is also weird how my friend can join other people but I can’t. I also I also bought the full game but it made make a new account. If anyone can help would be great but I don’t want to start a new account so I might have to live with it. I also migrated my account to nex gen. I have own the game before but now my story progress is gone and only on the other edition.I’m open to anything. I would really appreciate any ideas.

For me when I do it, it sends but then when the other person get the invite it says view game or more details and when I go to the social thing it doesn’t say join it says view game

It says my friend online . But join friends is unavailable and says no friends on. We send each other invites and it just takes us right back to our own session

Doesn't work on Xbox series x. Also, I've noticed not a single video is from the start load screen. I don't know why. Join session is always blacked out. Anytime I go to accept a game invite it brings me back to re download the game. Then says I already own it.

It’s your NAT type test your internet connection on your console and if it is NAT type 3 then certain features will not be able to be used
