Germany’s parliament has voted to legalize gay marriage after Chancellor Angela Merkel made an unexpected policy U-turn earlier this week. The result will enable gay couples to adopt children.

Now time for the next step on the path of progress: legalize polygamous marriages. There's absolutely no reason why two gays should be allowed to marry and three gays shouldn't. Unless you hate people who live in polygamous relationships.

Gay marriage is not a progressive idea. For the sake of equality people should fight to abolish marriage in all it's forms, not strengthen and expand that institution.
