I just started watching this channel after my cousin told me about it so I could be faster than my other cousin because he is always trying to level up me and says things that don’t matter but now I realise it’s easygoing if you have a growth mindset so I am determined to try all of these ideas but not over train myself as you said😅😊

I just ran 12 seconds. no training or any experience. the track coach who timed me couldn't believe it. I wish I took up running when I was younger.

I was n 11:20 runner in 100m and now I am a 10:84

My fastest time last year was 12.7 I’m now a junior and my goal is to run 11.5 before the season ends. My coaches think I should try 300m hurdles but idk

What about lifting? It's easy to be fast from just running when you only weigh 130 pounds but if you're high 100, 200+ pounds you need to weight train or else you'll just be slow. It's easier for the light guys to have really good relative strength or power.

I can currently run a 11.04. First time on track. Apparently if I improved I would beat the school record.

I run a pr of 11.58 and have never trained I'm 15 and I'm just wondering if I should bother starting to train and run a bit more seriously

Does height affect running because i run 13.26 at 14yo but im 152cm (around 5ft tall)
If I were normal height would I be faster

Im trying to be able to run sub 13 by the time I turn 13

Update: I am now 13 and my pb for 100 is 12.30

New goal is now sub 12 by the time I turn 14. Ill update in a year if I remember

What about lifting? All sprinters lift weights.

What should a six year old do? I want to use sprint training to bond woth my son, tracking time will build his math skills. Simple task but becomes complicated. Very easy to see if on the right track....does Ur time go up or down? If doesn't improve have to adjust what Ur doing. The test once warmed up takes 10 seconds (googled average distance printed in a soccer match and 12 to 30 meters)
