I really don't know why but this series makes me so goddamn emotional. Like every time I see something Outlander related, I feel like I'm about to cry. Finale of Season 2? Yup. I cried like a baby. Shit, I really don't know what it is but I love this show.

Die historische Highland-Saga (Outlander) & Songs ist ein echter Klassiker. Es hat mich so sehr in seinen Bann gezogen, dass es gewissermaßen zu meinem Lebensrhytmus wurde. Die Bücher der Saga (Outlander) habe ich schließlich verschlungen
und obwohl es schon so lange her ist, viele habe ich doch in den Serien wiedergefunden bzw. mich erinnert. Die Produzenten haben eine Atmosphäre geschaffen, die dem Zuschauer vermittelt, mittendrin statt nur dabei zu sein. Die Kleidung, die Burgen und selbst die Landschaftsbilder vermitteln ein wildes Schottland, wie man es sich kaum vorstellen kann. Ich persönlich habe das Gefühl, dass das Leben in Schottland damals tatsächlich so war, hart, unbarmherzig und wild. Da kommt einem die aufkeimende, aber auch sehr energiegelandene Liebe zwischen Jamie und Claire durchaus als kleine Oase vor. Einfach großartig!

the singer sounds a lot like Dido to me. I think that the message of the song is quite fitting--reminds me of the reasons the French Revolution took place actually (vast inequalities and constant fighting). And well, this season is very French :)
