Sweet. I just picked up my XR6T on Monday, can't stop driving it lol. Changed the air filter to a K&N panel filter, and can hear it whistle quite loud when I give it a bit. Even stock these things fly!

G'day mate, this particular unit is for Turbo models only as they run a twin 2.25" system. Your BA XR6 will have a single pipe system. There may be a single pipe replacement available in the future from Venom. I use their cat on my XR6T and the quality is outstanding. If such a product comes out for yours, I'm sure it will be cheaper and offer essentially the same grunty note.

Sounds good when it gets up in the revs but a truck down low and idling, perhaps a small 12 inch or 14 inch long hotdog muffler inbetween the back muffler would give it a deeper nicer note.

Hey there, that's correct the only thing changed on this car is the straight pipe middle section

Do these only work with the turbo xr's? And what makes them different to a regular piece of pipe? I have a bf so I was wondering that's all

Im wanting to remove the cat and also buy one of these pipes questions are will I have to get the ecu tuned and will this be a power increase? I have an steal cold airbox and thats it

I too have a standard xr6, not the turbo and wondering if i just replace the middle muffler with a straight pipe if it would sound similar?

Will this exhaust work on a XR6 BA N/A (non-turbo) or are they a different if it does fit, will it produce the same sound being a non-turbo (I know there will not be a turbo spiraling up sound)

Thanks mate! This car does have the F6 lower snorkle as well which gives off a nicer induction note, apart from that, stock.

Bought one, doesnt sound anywhere near loud enough. the noise is faint. not worth buying imo.

Sounds awesome. Is the engine modded in anyway? Looking at a few XR6 Ts tomorrow, that whistle when you're giving it some sounds great ^^
