I remember seeing this in 2016 but now that im older and watching this it gives me a whole new meaning to this song when she sings it. cuz im putting my foot in her shoes . just imagine the reason why she wrote this. not cuz she was inspired. somebody hurt her and this song was her telling herself shes beautiful ! ugh Linda I love you!

I just listened the christina's version of this song and then linda's original version showed up, i clicked it and automatically started crying, it's amazing how a very dark song can only belong to the original composer cause it is part of her soul. Just beautiful!

This song is as ode to loneliness and despair, sung by a master singer/songwriter.
Linda Perry deserves to be recognized as one of the best songwriters of this time!!

Wish she would release an album of all her great songs written for others along with a couple from her first group such as What's Up. If she doesn't do it, I am going to record this great stuff from these online sources for my own personal listening. What a talent.

The difference was, it wasn't a hit song or a meaningful video. It was raw emotion. Understanding being the square peg not fitting into a round hole. Don't get me wrong, what Christina did with it was beautiful as well, but to hear it from the person who wrote can feel that. Thank you for so many amazing songs.
