I have one day to read this book and one other (this is all my fault, I am a procrastinator and put no blame upon my amazing teacher, who gave us all summer to read three books) and these summary's are greatly helping me gain a better understanding of this classic novel. With the sentences in the book having such long and drawn out sentences, it makes it near impossible for me to understand the book in such little time. Thank you for making these videos. I am really appreciative but in chapter 8 they do not tell us directly that Dimmesdale is Hester’s lover. I am a student and was only instructed to read chapters 1-8 and your video totally ruined the mystery of discovering who Hester’s secret lover was!! I was so invested in figuring out the mystery as I continued to read the book, but now there is not mystery because you took that away from me.
