Today let's take down Tiderippers with this easy-to-follow strategy.

For anyone trying to do the lvl 25 Rollerback salvage quest, this strategy works.... But plan to use 6-12 traps. It is a pain in the fucking ass.

another method to do it is to strip one or 2 of its armor clamps(the thing you need for upgrades) and then toss whatever dps weapon you have right into the now exposed giant weakspot at the top

Thank you, i've been trying to take down the apex version of this monster for days now and just couldn't do it. He dissapears constantly and fires so many icebombs. I had no idea there was a weakness underneath him like that.

Right so if you were having trouble hitting the belly since it has some armour and is right underneath him where he doesn’t even expose it, try using a bracing shot that fires an explosive arrow at it. It helps a lot

why isn't anyone using the rock trap on the side? Shoot the beam and bring the rocks down, takes its health down by half. Theres another by the cave entrance. Smarter not harder. Did this last night and took him down in a couple minutes.

Took me forever to beat this damn thing. I swear it develops some sort of aim bot once you get its health down to like 25%. all of a sudden, it has perfect aim, and you can hide behind entire mountains, and it’s attacks will hit you from behind… freaking ridiculous

Sometimes the machine destroys acid traps by long range attacks. I used acid arrows followed by blasting spike thrower. Took 30 acid arepa and 15 spikes.

I find it weird how many videos I've watched and how few people use traps. I can't stop using them in my encounters.

My trick is to get a fire clawstrider on aggressive mode and then go to fight a shellsnapper it'll do most of the work for you

Dude! It was hilarious how I killed a shell snapper b/c I was fighting one near a cauldron top left and I what was hilarious is that I made it corpse launch so far! Lmao! I'd wish I recorded it!
So when I had the health down low, I was throwing the spears at it and somehow I managed to hit below on it's stomach and it launched so far! I busted out laughing lmao!
