Major inteferance on the 17m amateur radio band from one of the Over the Horizon Radars. This is the strongest I have ever heard it. It lasted for about 25mins and was about 30k wide.

My late brother worked on the Over The Horizon Radar in the late '80's or early '90's within a division of Telstra, then went onto work on encrypted landline phones. From memory he was fairly dismayed at the lack of technical information security of the Radar system and how much was being divulged by the Australian Media at the time. He would have loved to have seen your setup and no doubt talked for hours at a time with you.
