How To Add OXIDE uMod To Your RUST SERVER

Remember, if you are setting your groups up in the chat, you need to prefix the command with a forward slash (/). Add groups in chat it is much

Any chance of doing a 2022 update? Love the content, but everything with Oxide and how it shows up in your directory after extraction is completely different looking now than in the video. Makes it difficult to follow when there's not an actual Oxide folder anymore.

For those wanting to be Vanilla, Just know he's wrong about you can't install Oxide and be vanilla.
You are ALLOWED to have Oxide and be in "Community" as long as the only plugins you have are Admin tools, Things like queue bypass+coloured names are allowed.

it will automatically put you in modded if you install Oxide BUT if you go into the "oxide.config.json" and where it says "Modded: true, " you put a line directly under it sayins "Community: true, " and turn modded to false you will appear in Community. A WARNING: If you have more than Admin tools or queuebypass+coloured names and you get reported FacePunch can and will blacklist your server. (meaning players can connect through IP but wont be able to see it in the lists)

I'm Admin on my Server and if i connect every time my rank is [Player] [Admin] Name... sooo how can i remove the [Player] rank for ever? if i reconnect its still the same, I do every time /chat group remove Name default. how can i fix this ?

so i install betI installed betterchat but now when I write in the chat, it marks the message twice, one with the grades and another normal one, how to have only the one with the grades?

Sorry for to come on another video but I have another question regarding Oxide. I just installed Oxide but I have a problem when i'm connect, some box and some bots not appear I have to enter the command spawn.fill_groups to make everything reappear have you any idea how I could do so that it's automatic. Thank you again for the tutorials I tried other but you popularize things well.

hey srtbull i am following this exactly but when i add the group admin its saying ive created it but not saying would i like to see the new updated data betterchat.json file so its not showing the group ''admin'' in my data file and i'm unable to then change the name / colour of the title, could you please help?

srtbull I followed everything, but how do I add all default players to one "Chat group" for e.g. I have Admin and VIP and they're working perfectly because all I did was chat user add "Name" vip and that was it, but how do I add all normal players to my group called "Players" do I have to type each on of their names or what? Please help me, this is really bugging me...

i am adding better chat after i have 2 groups made called admin and default. When i load better chat in the data files i can only edit one group and that is the default group. how do i add the second group so i can edit the admin group?

Hey bro, hope you and yours are well. I finally got my servers vip kits set up thanks to another of your videos, in which BetterChat is discussed. Since installing it all the in game chat messages show up twice each...is there a way to turn one of them off? If you've already made a video on this please excuse my ignorance, i've watched them all so many times yet it gets hard to keep track of what is covered in each . Thanks for your time.
