Hmmm was she not the transport secretary who (2006) introduced plans for the "Smart Motorways", subseqently causing many needless deaths (79 and counting)!!!!

This was a very good interview, and thank you for doing it, BUT.... you didn't ask Ruth about the current issue of lockdowns, coerced vaccines, personal choice about mask wearing etc etc. These were rather glaring omissions, as they are still current really.
