1:41 The nerf to Rage will have a significant impact on the currently popular combo, Arrows + Rage. Previously, you could take out units like Magic Archer and Mother Witch with it, but now you can't. However, it still eliminates Bats and Skeletons.

As an evo mortar player, the goblin hit speed nerf is really bad for evo mortar because against princess tower, it will no longer get 2 stabs on the tower anymore. They just made an average-below average win con even worse..

Logbaiters cry a lot when any deck that counters them become viable, so they nerfed every way to counter logbait: the tower, spells and troops and buffed bait cards. Supercell is sucking them like crazy

Tornado nerf is just absurdly stupid. The card is good just because it has no proper competition, maybe they are preparing for Executioner Evo which might be a good combo with Tornado but the Executioner won't relay on Tornado as much after this change. I think waiting until most splash cards get an evolution or until Tornado itself gets an evolution would be good to see how it should be changed because Tornado's situation is unique, a lot of card relies on Tornado (mostly splash cards) while Tornado itself is a decent card which takes Tornado from an above average card to a strong one making the card itself nerf-proof and any further damage nerfs hurt Graveyard A LOT. While I'm not a fan of Graveyard but this is just absurd and i kinda have to get my biased opinion out of the way but as a non Graveyard player this is bad.
Rage nerf makes it deal less damage than Zap, idk if it is the same or less than Gaint Snowball after the nerf but yeah.
I know Dagger Duchess was strong, but i feel like this tower troop is a pretty polarising one to balance. When it is good, cycle/bait players cry which is like 70% of top ladder but keeping it bad is just as bad. Despite having many stats to change, it will still be in a healthy position because of her design being anti-cycle which a lot of players seem to genuinely hate. Maybe buff Cannoneer to make it an alternative for Duchess? This could work temporarily until a proper change is found
Goblinstein nerf? Really? What is this? October 2024? But the fact they applied a small nerf instead of going overboard is kinda nice i guess. I think going with the safe route when balancing is a good approach.
Berserker buff is fair but I'm worried about the HP buffs stacking up later and making her as tanky as an Ice Golem or a Knight. A fair buff but i think they should avoid the HP stat in futuristic balance change.
Suspicious Bush change is niche but nice.
Evo Tesla change is nice, they finally stopped nerfing Cannon and starting to care for other buildings and they are finally starting to notice how some cards lack competition rather being strong.
Last year, we had 1 cycle Evo Bomber changed to 2 cycle and that card was released for the valentine if i remember correctly and they did the same to Lumberjack Evo. I guess it is a procedure to valentine Evos at this point lmao.
Goblin Gang nerf affects:
Evo Mortar, Goblins, Evo Goblin Gaint, Goblin Drill, Goblin Barrel, Goblin Curse
Evo Mortar was already a niche Evo but now this is just spitting at it, same goes with Evo Goblin Drill. THESE have to be compensated for this devastating nerf.
(also cards that can get affected: Party Rocket and Party Hut)
Goblins rework? Skeletons might die in some decks next season because the last time Goblins had 1 second deploy time Skeletons went back to their Tombstone.
Goblin Barrel rework getting compensated and these weak Evos not is crazy bruh
My changes wish list
Evo Mortar compensation (maybe can buff base Mortar while at it i guess)
Goblin Drill (normal and Evo) compensation
Tornado change reverted
Prince nerf
Cannoneer buff

I cannot fathom why they made LJ a one cycle evo. Cage makes sense because it's just a building and you can't ALWAYS play a building for no reason, but every other 4 elixir card is 2 cycle, why the FUCK was LJ a 1 cycle for so long? Braindead devs.
Really unfortunate that the devs had the chance to nerf barrel (most braindead WC in the entire game) and they just didn't... no surprise tho.

I feel like the barrel changes aren’t gonna mean much at all. For anyone who is still confused, for a long while now there has always been a 1.5s window of time in which you can react to the deployed goblins from the barrel in the classic placement directly on the tower: 1.1s deploy time + 0.4s first hit speed. With nerfing the goblins first hit speed to 0.6s while buffing the barrel deploy time to 0.9s, all they did was shift that 1.5s window of time back and make it so the goblins spawn 0.2s faster on the tower. It feels very insignificant in terms of changing barrel interactions, kind of like those recent princess bug fixes.
However what needs to be discussed about this is how the first hit speed nerf to the goblins card drastically affects other cards like goblin drill, evo drill, and goblin curse which desperately need compensation buffs now imo. Yes we need prince and ice wiz nerfs but if they don’t buff drill it will become a significantly worse win condition.

Tornado nerf is more of a buff. Now it's easier to activate king tower against goblin barrel since the nado won't deal too much damage to kill the goblin

Tornado is in a Spot where any nerf or buff will make it either terrible or broken. And it’s going to be terrible. Is a a unique card, that any changes will dramatically change how good or bad it will be.

I think the dagger duchess didnt need a nerf. I know bait players think she is annoying but since arrows and log got nerfs, bait will be much stronger and dagger duchess can keep the archetype in check

Nado nerf is unnecessary, prince probably needs one and dagger duchess is juustified, it'll still be good against bait, cucle and spam and it'll suck even more at everything else

prince doesnt need a nerf, lumberjack is what makes prince strong and prince only works in some decks, nerfing it would kill the card
