Is sick: 40 minutes episode
Is not sick: 27 minutes episode

Make crafting co-processors for you AE CPUs. It will make your auto crafts so much faster.

Wouldn't process Platinum via Mekanism, use a Pulverizer to get Iridium as byproduct.
Wrt Digital Miner: Thaumcraft Crystal Clusters wildcard term is "oreCrystal*" (e.g. oreCrystalAir).
You can use the JEI ore dictionary search to figure out what a filter term yields by searching with a $ sign prefixed. E.g. search for $ore in JEI to see all the ore blocks. Holding down shift also show the oredictionary names in the tooltip.

awww back to 27 minute eps :( I was really enjoying the 40 minute videos

Well, that was unexpected. I expected Dire to use TE ore tripling. Well done Dire. You're one step closer to quadrupling your ore processing.

Put (*ore*) in the ore dictionary filter. It will mine any ores in he range. Then u can add the block whitelists.
Edit: don't put the brackets, the brackets are there because youtube won't show the asteriks.

Dire. The only YouTuber that makes you look at your system tray all the time. Because he doesn’t turn off his system sounds in the mixer. :(

Really like what you did with keeping the metalurgic infusers filled. Also, good point with the miner, didn't realise you were cognitively choosing that method

I highly recommend holding off on platinum processing until you have Thermal Expansion cinnabar, because Platinum Ore + Cinnabar in the Induction Smelter gives you 3x platinum as well as 1x (I think it was 1) iridium

If you look up clump in JEI, you will see all the ore types that process through mekanism. This includes cobalt, ardite, uranium, star metal and all the nuclearcraft ores. The other ore types you will get after you get into advanced rocketry

Just as a tip for the digital miner:
-The oredictionnary uses the ore dictionnary names, quite straight forward, however, when you searched in JEI you searched by item name, not oredictionnary name. To search with oredictionnary names, prefix your word with a '$'.
-The oredictionnay filter in the digital miner accepts one 'joker', the '*' (asterisk) symbol. it basically means that from this point, there can be any substring of characters.
so for example: 'ore*' affect all ores defined by an item with an ore dictionnary name starting with 'ore' such as 'oreIron', if the modder/modpack maker did the oredictionnary correctly.

Get a really big oxygen tank, and don't dump excess hydrogen. This way, it might throttle eventually, but only eventually. And it'll rebuild its buffer of oxygen as you need more energy.

Hey Dire, something I haven't seen you do before that (in theory) could be very useful for you: automate the smelting of all the dropped armor and weapons in a tinkers setup. You could be pulling a bunch of ingots of unusual metals from all the crazy armor drops you are seeing from your mob farm with the added bonus of clearing out the single nonstacking items from your storage. Maybe dump it all to a chest for a bit and see what the output looks like so you can decide if it is worthwhile. I wouldn't even worry about alloys since the stuff you are getting is super random anyway.

Dire, you should put ore intake and processing on a subnet. One thing that drives me insane, personally, is when my ME or RS inventories jump around from constant importing and exporting of ores. There's no true need for any terminals or anything on the subnet, but a regular terminal wouldn't hurt anything. Just a single disk, an importer from your quarry solution, and a single exporter into your processing chain. It also frees up the channel on your primary network, though it's only 1 channels anyway, so very minor benefit there... You would then import the ingots into your primary network as normal. The subnet needs to NOT be connected to primary network in this case for 2 reasons: connecting would destroy the benefit of subnet ting this, and 2: multiple storage paths reduces server performance.

ftlog co-processors Dire, and i mean like 3-4 per cpu min, and 1-2 more cpu could help you a lot :)

Dire I'm glad you're finally getting around to mekanism, it's one of my favorite mods; I don't recall you ever really using it before this pack and I've watched on and off for a long time

Make the mekanism gas upgrades to put in the first machine in the ore tripling setup.

Regarding the Metallurgic Infuser setup:
I usually just add the Compressed Redstone/Diamond/etc. to the crafting recipes and let the interface output the ingredients to a chest, and then pull it out and insert them into the right side of the Infuser via an Item Conduit.
But this works too, and I do like the compactness of this, even though it technically still "wastes" a small amount of resources.
