Get your lesson straight, that introductory picture (and some others as well) are Japanese, NOT Chinese. If you can't tell, you shouldn't be teaching about Chinese history

I think the person made this video should learn a bit more Chinese history before making it. China did not have pyramid like houses (0:44 photo) in villages, it look like in Africa rather than in China; the photo showed in 0:13 is a Japanese village not Chinese. Most of the photos are from Qing Dynasty which was the last imperial dynasty in China 1644-1912. The Qing Dynasty should only be call Chinese Modern History. China has far longer history before that. We have recorded history from at least from Xia 21st - 17th century BC. I believe they can call Ancient China.

So that's were the Portuguese word for "tea" comes from. Portuguese people who traded with China often brought tea back home. In Portuguese, tea is spelled "chá" just like in Chinese. How curious.

Ancient Rome/China: children were left outside to die if they were unwanted/couldn’t be taken care of.

Me: ah yes, look at how “advanced” we were back then!
