Bios Password Reset | HP EliteDesk 800 G5 Mini Desktop

What I actually did. I had HP EliteDesk 800 G5 mini. Took the power cable off, took the plastic jumper, pressed the yellow button and hold it, reconnected the power cable, turn the pc on and started to press F10, then it went into the BIOS without removing the battery or doing anything else. A key thing to note, you must press and hold the secret button in the middle front, for several minutes. I observed that the power led and fan turned on and off at least 3 times, with no video. They video turned on long enough that it said RTC and settings were reset . Then one more time, turned off and on, of it's own accord, and was able to see bios unlocked, and released the button then. When I released it sooner (after only 2 reboots) it had reset the time (RTC) but not the password. Tested this pattern and honed in the technique with 3 different HP EliteBook 800 G5's

@ 800 g6 you have to jumper
Pin #2 from this „black 8-pin chip“ nearby the speaker.. (something with WINBOND or GigaDevice was written on) with PC switched off but Power Plug still connected, jumper a small wire from pin 2 to ground. Than switch it on.. 3 times red light and crazy beeps.. wait until it stops beeping (importend).. 1-2min done.

Upgrade, only disconect the jumper and normal turn on then press F10, only this.

HI, i have a HP prodesk 600 G5 and its not turning on, when i press the POWER button the led light will turn on but when i release the power buttton it will not turn on, what would be the problem? i try to open it the cpu fan is not working even i hold the power button for atleast 10seconds.

any idea how to reset bios pass on HP EliteDesk 800 G6, it seems like there is no jumper on g6 version

Any idea how to do this on a G6? There is no jumper there. There is a small push button switch, but holding that and booting reset the clock but not the BIOS password.
