GRWM: Trying Urban Decay Naked 3 With Lots of Chat

A week or so ago I received some awesome gifts including Urban Decay Naked 3 palette and Naked Flushed palette, Doll 10 lipstick and gloss, more brushes than I know what to do with and a ton of samples! A sneak peek at this week's moisturizer I am testing and this is also my first time applying make up after the experiment of dyeing my eyebrows silver. Apparently, I was in a very chatty mood... I had a weird thing happen with the color on some of the clips and didn't know how to fix so please forgive... And yes, a quick tutorial on my hairdo is coming soon, just didn't want to make this one any longer!

I think it is hard for women to bond with each other and easier for men in this respect. So I love that makeup is something that women do and can relate to well with each other. Monique, thank you again for representing those of us who are over the age of 50!!!! I've been following several of the (very) young makeup tutorials and at 70, I don't want cat eyes or two or more eyeshadow colors at one time. As an Esthetician, over the years I've tweezered, depilatoried, over-waxed my brows down to three maybe 5 hairs in both brows. So I've been practicing making the 'new' bold brows and I've gotten so good at it that 4 of my pals who are all over 60 have asked me for help!. So, I've shaped and filled in their brows. So, again THANK YOU MONIQUE for representing the glam gals over 50.
ps: I've started wearing my contact lens along with my mag mirror so I can apply my makeup. Flawlessly I might add💄💅🏾🌹

Absolutely gorgeous! I like your makeup videos, they make me feel as if I'm getting some tips from a well-practised friend who isn't an expert but does a good job. Therefore, I don't feel as if I am on the outside of some deep glamorous makeup world and I can never be "cool enough" or attain that level of skill. Very relaxed and makes one feel more equal than the uncool makeup outsider.

One more comment... I, too, am a Scorpio. That's why I resonate with you!!! We are deeply passionate and feel sometimes more than we'd like. But I like that as I love embracing my extremely intuitive side. In fact, it was intuition, not medical tests, that "told" me I had breast cancer. And then later, ovarian cancer. Ladies! Listen to your intution!!! My rising sign is Libra...I love balance, but love FLOW more. My daughter and son are both Cancers (water signs). While I don't make astrology my "religion", there's definitely fun, humor, and a lot of truth in it.

I'm 50 and I didn't like shimmers either for a long time until I saw someone here on YT use them wet. I just sprayed my small flat shader brush with setting spray, drag it through the shimmery shadow and then pat pat pat. Don't swipe. This also makes the shimmer not crease, makes it pop and it holds on your eye FOREVER. I love doing the shimmers now. Great video, the colors suit you well. :-)
