Migrating from npm to Yarn, updating React | Funning around with JavaScript

Keep working on a tool for genetics research written in Guile Hoot and TypeScript. For introducing tooltips/labels it requires a newer version of react, also we probably will update a js/ts build and dependency management infrastructure.
