So lovely to see you Larke! You look well and it was so fun to catch up with all you have been making. Spring has arrived in Tokyo where I live and it is so wonderful to go for walks and to see and smell all the flowers and trees blooming. Take care!

It was lovely to have you back. Good to hear the family are all well. For some reason you manage to keep my attention. Often with some other podcasts my mind drifts off and I have to rewind their video. Thank you. 🐨🐨👏🏼

So lovely to enjoy another podcast by you and amazing that you were able to fit so much in. Enjoy your maternity leave, it is there because mothers (and fathers) need quality time to spend with the babies and themselves too. Love your favourites! All Birds Footwear has a Canadian site too so I am excited to look into that. Until next time....

Hello there dear friend, it’s so lovely to spend some of my morning in your company today! Just a little piece of advice from a spinner to a knitter....if you ever want to know the “weight” of your yarn but there is no information on the ball band, you can easily know it by working out the WPI (wraps per inch). Take a ruler or tape measure with inches on it and carefully wrap enough of your yarn around it to the length of one inch, being careful not to wrap too tightly or too loosely or wrap on top of another thread. Once you’ve done that, count how many wraps you have and then you will know the wpi....on Ravelry you can find a helpful chart to explain what each amount equals in yarn (just type yarn weight rich and wraps per inch into a search engine). For example, 14 wpi is a fingering weight yarn. It’s a bit confusing perhaps at first but once you get to know how it works it means you can swatch more accurately and get gauge more easily on yarns with no information (this is especially the case with farm yarns here in France!). Sending lots of love your way, fran xxx

Lovely to 'see' you again! The glimpse of garter stitch in that shawl design you're working on looks so lovely and comfortable, it sounds like a really interesting yarn choice. Hope you are enjoying maternity leave despite the sleeplessness!
