Murai Urban Battle Circuit enhances Soldier Training

#SGBudget2024: MINDEF and the SAF have made sizeable investments in building up infrastructure to train our NSmen and Regulars. This year, training in SAFTI City Phase 1, together with three Instrumented Battle Circuits will commence.

Murai Urban Battle Circuit is equipped with an enhanced battlefield monitoring system, smart targetry and realistic battlefield effects, leveraging technology to help our soldiers train more realistically and effectively.

Well done SAF for using technology to enhance soldier capabilities while keeping safe. But what difference is this as compared to having a human OPFOR? A human can creep, crawl, dash, hide and shoot back using TES. Is this to reduce the reliance on OPFOR?
