This man composed some of the best music I have ever heard. He is a true musical genius, and I wish someone would do a video of him playing Bowser's Final theme from Mario64. He probably gets asked to play the stupid Super Mario theme every goddamn day.

It’s crazy to think that, in all likelihood, for any 80s/90s kid with a Nintendo, his music was probably what we heard the most, in terms of hours of playback. I mean, we all had our favorite tapes and CDs, but we didn’t listen to them on endless repeat for weeks!

It’s also a testament to his skill that his music not only tolerated hours of endless-loop playback, but that it did that while being massively limited by the format it came on.
