I think, the Covid-19 pandemic has already shown that remote work makes sense. It brings better better work-life, less commuting, less pollution and more commitment to the employees who like it...:)

To be truly pro hybrid work, Microsoft should allow employees to work remotely across border for a short period of time just like other companies allow. It is possible to do it in a compliant way

Few points to rethink for managers and employees....

How can we bridge the paradox between employee and managers – Both need tools and soft skills to manage employees and their work.
Remote job in 2020 to 2022 increases from 2% to 20% so Questions to think and ask “How might we collaborative better in hybrid work setting & make them feel part of company purpose and mission so they can contribute to company culture and delivering impact towards our customers”

There are variety of ways to improve social capital and collaborate -How can we use tool and technologies to improve social capital

How can we change questions from “How can I get more visibility and productivity from my employees” to “How can I help to feel my employees empower and thrive with their maximum potential”

CEO who oppose hybrid or work-from-home are egotistical who want to see workers as slaves in their offices. Work-from-home offers more freedom and satisfaction to employees. Period.

I don't know what idealistic/woke world LinkedIn CEO lives in. His responses were so far from ground reality. That too coming from CEO of a company which is at the center of career/job hunting, seems very dillusional.
