Racerstar BR1407 3500Kv 3S on Sparrow GEP-MX3
Показать описание
I found that the BR1407 works great on 3S if you match it with the right prop. I started out with the DYS 3045 which I found underwhelming and was initially disappointed until I tried several other props (all tri-blades) and discovered the Gemfan 3052 gave the best performance (most punch) for my setup, especially when carrying the HD cam. Here's how I would rank them:
1. Gemfan 3052
2. DALPROP 3045 V2 Bull
3. DYS 3045
I've also got some RaceKraft 3030 (4-blades) and 3076 (tri-blades) which I need to test, but based on the static trust test results I've seen, I'm not expecting them to be better than the Gemfan. I'm also keen to run this on a 4s lipo (which this setup supports) and see if my prop ranking changes with the higher RPM.
My build, with parts mostly from Banggood:
* BLHeli 20A 4-in-1 ESC
* Turnigy Nano-Tech 850mAh 3S 90C lipo
Weight: 256g (185g without battery and a further 171g without HD cam)
I've been running the Firefly HD Action Cam in 720P and so far it's been surprisingly decent for the price. One downside is it doesn't seem to be configurable at all and the AWB doesn't respond well to changes in brightness, with the image sometimes going blue (being able to choose the metering spot would help with this), as well as the AGC being a bit slow at boosting the brightness when transitioning to low light conditions, which is most prevalent during flips as you'll see in the video.
