I just moved away from the rose Bowl and I miss the flea market so much! One secret hack is to walk around at the end just as/after everyone is packing up and getting out. vendors will leave items they dont want to pack up near trash cans and dumpsters for free. If you're ok with doing some refurb you can find some awesome stuff

In germany it is the third saturday of every month. Two resons: one, it cannot be on sunday since everything is closed on sundays. They are considered 'vacation' days. Two, there are a few holidays that fall on Saturdays, that could clash with the flea markets and mess people's schedules. Otherwise it is an AMAZING opportunity and a lot of steals are there. For 15 euros i bought a glass/ mirror chess. Beautiful!

I was told that spray sunblock doesn't really apply evenly so you would need to layer a lot more than you think to get full coverage and the level of protection advertised on the bottle

The heat there is probably comparable to the Philippines summer I agree its hot that you even need an umbrella and when I came home at 11 p.m. from school it was soo damn hot it was like walking on a dessert but I don't fell hot if wind comes to me
