Ellie is just happy that she's got two for the price of one.

Ellie was an absolute gem.She is the only one who is absolutely sure and hundred percent knew her mom.The other pets probably knew but it was hard for me to understand their reaction.

When my identical twin sons were small, they were frustrated that people couldn't tell them apart and asked me why. I showed them several photos of them together and challenged them to tell me who was who. They couldn't even begin. They asked me if I knew, I showed them. They asked their dad, he pointed them out exactly as I did. They asked us how we knew, we explained that seeing them daily since birth, we got to know each of them as individuals and could tell them apart even in photos. As identical twins grow up and get older, they tend to look less and less like each other, so it gets easier for people to tell them apart. This is a relief for my sons.

Nessa's cats knew but they just didn't care, they are kittens still in a playful phase. Animals have a very strong sense of smell

They can tell you apart. Animals identify you by smell, not sight. And scent is like a fingerprint, even identical twins don’t share one. ❤
