I personally would love if she had this like.... cracked, slightly smoldering look. So you can actually see her burning from the inside, which would make for neat contrast with the motherly and friendly vibe of her physical form.
Imagine having a caring and supremely huggable person, but every inch of her being shows the strain she's under, the fact that her time is limited and that she's slowly fading away as she gives her all to aid you. It fits with that small theme of martyrdom that we see in her W for example. She pays a price for our wellbeing.

While I do find the motherly features alluring, there is a certain pride I feel that Celestials harbor as a whole in their cosmic origin. Reflecting that through a bodily elegance and reputation is something I would expect a Celestial to naturally commit to when under Soraka's circumstances.

On the other hand, one could argue that this is precisely what Soraka would like to conceal or nullify through the action of mortalizing her being into one such earthly vessel, hence making her committment to appear as approachable as possible and mute any Celestial influence and intimidation from her chosen form.

I'm not certain. I cannot easily imagine her as more mature-looking as she is currently, despite clearly weighing the aforementioned facts side by side, with favor to the latter. Especially when I take in account her lines in LoR, there is a sweetness in her voice that does not match a mother's but simply a kind soul's and caretaker's. An example: as she is summoned alongisde a present Spring Guardian the gentleness with which she greets the Guardian's Stellacorns is so much like a distant relative's or friend rather than a mother's. So sweet, yet not how I imagine a parental figure would sound like, which I endorse because it alludes to her concealed Celestial nature which demands an inevitable cosmic distance from the Earth she painfully has made her home. I feel that the pain through which she has to go through to maintain her form is also somewhat neglected through her voicelines (mechanically and narratively it is so well-defined that her lines and even lack of physical defects, which Skyen's models aim to remedy, feel discredited).
