"I thought it would be good to do a moving painting... three fucking years I worked on moving paintings until my friend showed me this thing called a mo-vie."

Traditional arts allow for deep meditative reflection. The mind is forced to constantly be thinking of change and nuance and concepts even if they cannot be realized. Even as you struggle to realize what is possible you will still see what isn’t. Having those thoughts drives a desire to realize what cannot be where you are or through what you are doing, but may be realized by doing something else where you are not. If you can’t find that place, all you can do is experiment and create and eventually you will. Also, fun fact if you watch David lynch interviews long enough the drink on your desk will move telepathically.

I regret now I didn't pursue my artistic side in high school, through music. Would've been cool to start out in a music college, then progress to film studies afterward. I'm late 40s now, so i might just tinker with it as a hobby.
