It was so weird how the Lakers handled that. Are they serious about making the playoffs or not? If AD is not hurt, play him, even for limited minutes. There should be no reason at this point of the season especially in a Play-in situation where all teams are super freaking close where you should be sitting ANY game unless you are injured.

If Davis played 15 - 20 min, it's a Lakers win. They could've let him play 15 - 20 min, if it's true the doctors and training staff didn't want him to play. They could've played him and monitored his minutes. They let players coming off of a significant injury play in limited minutes. No excuses!
