The UK is fortunate to have advanced proposals for CCUS clusters in all its key industrial regions; Scotland, Teesside, Humber, South Wales and the North West. By sharing carbon dioxide transport and storage infrastructure, these clusters enable a variety of industries to reach net zero whilst making a significant contribution to regional growth in the UK’s industrial heartlands. This session (the second of two) will provide an opportunity to hear from the UK’s CCUS cluster proposals – next steps and key milestones – as well as how these clusters can contribute to the goals of the UK’s Industrial Decarbonisation Challenge.
